FAQs
What is FootGolf? Simply take two fantastic sports - football and golf - and combine them into one great activity. You play by kicking a football into specifically designed holes, trying to take the least amount of shots as possible.
How long does it take? Bear in mind that an average footgolfer can kick the ball around 50 yards. The difference between footgolf and golf is that a football will roll and bounce in myriad ways depending on the topography of the course. The average length of a footgolf course is 2,250 yards (for 18 holes). 9 holes takes around 45 mins at HGA. 18 holes take double that at around one and a half hours.
Who is it for? Anyone – football fans, golfers, families, grandparents, corporate events & team building – it’s easy to play…. you simply need to be able to kick a ball and count!
No ball hire, we provide size 3, 4 and 5 balls which are included in the price or you can bring your own.
The course can cater for groups of up to 50 people at one time (Call to Book 01432 278908)
What can I wear? Whatever you like! Footgolf is played with a relaxed dress code policy. The only stipulation is that you wear trainers or similar shoes. You can wear any form of leisure clothing, including any form of sports shoe.
What does it cost? Under 18’s – £8, Adults – £12, Open 7 Days and Bank Holidays
